Do you offer furniture repair or just restoration?
I offer both! Furniture repair covers fixing broken parts—like loose joints, wobbly legs, or damaged surfaces—while restoration can include more extensive refinishing, repainting, or complete makeovers. Whether your piece needs a simple fix or a full transformation, I’m here to help.
Can you refinish my old or antique furniture?
Absolutely! I specialize in refinishing antique, vintage, and modern furniture. Whether your piece needs sanding, new stain, a painted finish, or updated hardware, I’ll make it look its best while preserving its character.

I upcycle and rescue almost any furniture—dressers, tables, chairs, nightstands, desks, hutches, benches, headboards, cabinets, and more. If you have something that’s seen better days or just needs a creative touch, bring it in! I love a challenge, whether it’s classic or quirky.
How do I get a custom furniture piece made?
Getting a custom piece is easy! Contact me with your idea, inspiration, or even a rough sketch. We’ll chat about your style, colors, size, and function, then I’ll source or build the piece, send progress updates, and make sure it fits your vision perfectly.
Can you create a custom dining table or coffee table?
Yes! I design and build custom dining tables, coffee tables, console tables, and more. Using new, vintage, or reclaimed materials, I’ll create a one-of-a-kind table tailored to your style, size, and needs.
What’s the difference between upcycled and restored furniture?
Restored furniture is brought back to its original (or close to original) condition—think classic finishes, matching the period, and honoring the old craftsmanship. Upcycled furniture is transformed creatively, often with bold paint, new hardware, mixed materials, or even a new purpose (like turning a headboard into a bench). Both are rescued, just with different vibes!

How does the custom order process work at Chic Furniture?
First, share your idea or piece you’d like customized. We’ll talk style, colors, finishes, and your needs. I’ll send an estimate and timeline. Once you approve, I get to work—sending photos and updates along the way. When it’s done, you pick it up or I’ll arrange shipping.
Can I bring in my own piece for restoration or a makeover?
Absolutely! I love helping customers rescue or reimagine pieces they already own. Just bring it to the shop (or send photos first), and we’ll chat about your vision, timeline, and options.
Do you offer shipping for furniture?
Yes, I offer shipping for furniture! Whether you’re nearby or across the country, I can arrange secure shipping. Customers pay the shipping cost, and I work to get you the best, safest rate.
